Marketing Merger Completes
2 Apr 2008
Three hull-based entrepreneurial companies have joined forces to create a new company with in-house capabilities to offer a complete marketing agency package to private, public and voluntary sector clients.
On the 1st April 2008 Level M Ltd, Eskimo Soup Ltd and T Media Ltd merged to create the Ludo Studio Group of companies combining over 10 years of marketing industry experience.
Ludo Studio employs thirteen people and owners claim that its greater capabilities mean that they will be able to offer advice and delivery in disciplines such as: marketing, design, web development, programming, print, photography, telemarketing and sales.
Group Managing Director Chris Middleton said that the merger has been a considered process: “After a lot of planning and looking at things from many angles we have agreed that for our new business the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We’ve been operating as one company for four months and have delivered projects for several new clients that our subsidiaries wouldn’t have been able to win on their own. Already we are seeing that our existing clients are benefiting from using our wider range of services which has validated the whole point of what we are trying to achieve.”
Mr Middleton said that he believed that the company and its clients will achieve success through balancing marketing logic with entrepreneurial instinct.
Ludo Studio currently occupies three offices and a photography studio within the Danish Buildings in High Street and plan to buy their own building by the end of the year.
The group will promote its Eskimo Soup brand primarily in the North of England offering a full marketing service to organisations seeking specialist support in a range of marketing communications. This encompasses Eskimo Soup Lifestyle Photography brand and Eskimo Soup Presents which is the new brand for the company formerly known as Level M Marketing and Events Ltd, whose clients include: Hull City Centre BID, St. Stephen’s, Business Link Humber and Fake Festivals.
The group will retain its T-Media brand which has been providing technical and media solutions since 2003 and has ongoing contracts for the NHS.
Ludo Studio are expanding beyond the Hull and Humber area through delivering projects for Stoke PCT, Fife Council, a nationally operating shop fitters and have recently won a project to develop the branding for a new chain of coffee shops in Australia. Closer to home the company are delivering Hull Comedy 2008 and the Hull Alive programme on behalf of the Hull City Centre BID.
The Board of Directors promise that a number of exciting and high-profile ventures will be unveiled over the next few months.
