Merger Reflected One Year On

7 Apr 2009

The Annual General Meeting of the Ludo Studio group of companies reflected on a year of growth and sustainable success.

Ludo Studio Group saw growth in revenues for eskimosoup and T Media, as well as carving out a strong position within the SME market for new company Web2Grow.

eskimosoup’s year saw strong advances in its specialisms in addressing mental health, worklessness and marketing for good. Additionally, eskimosoup has delivered over thirty workshops on behalf of clients in the fields of marketing planning, building confidence and social media marketing.
Major projects completed have included the ongoing development of an online mental health hub, the management of Hull Alive and developing Hull Comedy Festival to become the largest ticketed festival in the Hull and East Riding area.

In March 2009, eskimosoup rebranded with the launch of new website at www.eskimosoup.co.uk and internal procedures that evidenced a people-focussed organisation. The adoption of a new tagline “Rewarding Marketing” reflected the ethos of rewarding employees and clients for good work, as well as a commitment towards delivering marketing for social benefit.

T Media has made strong advances in health-related marketing, with the successful delivery of major projects for clients including: NHS Stoke, NHS Hull and Coventry City Council.
This has been reinforced by the development of the online resource www.nhsmarketing.co.uk and a commitment to developing capabilities in social marketing, including working with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the National Social Marketing Centre.

T Media has also supported the development and implementation of pioneering membership schemes for NHS Hull and NHS Stoke. T Media will be the main sponsor of the national NHS Membership Scheme Conference organised by NHS Hull in June 2009.

Chris Middleton, Managing Director of Ludo Studio Group issued the following statement:
“It is rewarding for everyone in the company to know that for all of the hard work we’ve had to put in; we have had a successful 12-months following the merger and have beaten all of the targets we set ourselves.
Although clearly this is a time when many companies in our industry are struggling; the growth we’ve seen in all areas of our business has justified that we are stronger than ever.
We have a client base to be proud of and recognise that we must never be complacent in serving these clients. By doing things to the best of our abilities we will maintain and develop business in our key market niches.
Internally, we’ve added a few faces to our team and employ some very talented people. We recognise that we need to serve their needs too and have taken steps to deliver on this. This includes the development of a programme of social and educational activities, an employee recognition system and a profit share scheme.
We must never lose focus of our belief that work can, and should be fun whilst delivering quality products and services.
We hope that our clients and team members will look back in 12-months time and reflect on another great year for all involved.”
